  • What is an Insurance Claim?

An insurance claim is a formal request you fill to obtain compensation from your Insurance Company for a covered loss or any other event included in your policy coverage. Your Insurance Company will validate your claim and, once approved, will issue the payment to you or an approved party on your behalf. Property Insurance claims are extremely complex, as each policy has different coverages. No claim is exactly the same to another, which is why we diligently work on each claim per the specifications and requirements of the Insurance Company. One thing all Insurance Companies have in common is their requirement to make a determination of coverage within 90 days of receiving notice of a loss. As your experts, Omni Claims will always ensure that you comply with the post lost duties that your Insurance Company requires to make such determination within the 90 days. This includes but is not limited to, providing access to the property, producing supporting documents, and recorded statements. We will guide you every step of the way and always keep you up to date with the status of your claim.
  • What is a Public Adjuster and why are they needed?

A Public Adjuster is a licensed professional by the State of Florida who works to represent your claim to the Insurance Company. A Public Adjuster will ensure you receive the maximum amount from the Insurance Company so you can rebuild your property.
  • What is the difference between a Public Adjuster and an Insurance Company Adjuster?

A Public Adjuster represent/work for the client (you). An Insurance Company Adjuster is hired to represent/work for the Insurance Company.
  • Why should I hire a Public Adjuster when my insurance company has already assigned me an Adjuster?

Insurance Company Adjusters are hired by the Insurance Company; consequently, they will protect the interest of their employer over yours. A Public Adjuster, on the other hand, will protect your interests over the interests of the Insurance Company. By hiring a Public Adjuster, your claim will be presented much more favorably and your chances of receiving a higher settlement from the Insurance Company will increase. Omni Claims Public Adjusters will be always on your side.
  • Will my Insurance Company cancel my contract if I hire a Public Adjuster?

Hiring a Public Adjuster is a right given to you by the State of Florida. If any Insurance Company try to discriminate against you because you’ve hired a Public Adjuster, they will be committing a serious violation of your rights and of the Florida State Laws.
  • How are Public Adjusters paid?

Omni Claims’ Public Adjusters are paid a small percentage of what you receive from the Insurance Company. We are paid ONLY if your Insurance Company pays to you. If the claim is not solved, then we charge no fees. Our experts will spend time and money documenting and resolving your claim. We will inform you of all the offers from the Insurance Company and advice you on the final decision to accept or deny their offer.
  • When should I call Omni?

If you’ve suffered any losses, we recommend that you call us immediately. By becoming involved since the very beginning of the claim, Omni Claims can set the tone for the entire negotiation process and ensure that you receive the most from your Insurance Company. However, you can call us at any time during your claim. Do not hesitate to call us!

Omni Claims works with both residential and commercial clients. Some examples of the losses we work are: Hurricane Damage, Water Damage, Fire Damage Insurance, Vandalism Damage, Theft, Roof Leak Insurance, Flood Damage, Mold Damage, Income, and Loss Storm / Lightning.
