Please, notice that the following steps may change, given the fact that all claims are different and vary depending on your insurance company determinations.
01
Site Assessment Inspection
The first step is a site assessment inspection with our Public Adjuster: Our Adjuster meets with you at your property to inspect and assess the damages.
02
Representation Agreement
Once you agree to be represented by Omni Claims and sign the retainer, we handle all matters of your claim and speak directly with your Insurance Company.
03
Reporting
We report your claim to your Insurance Company.
04
Joint Evaluation
Your Insurance Company provides contact information for their field adjuster. Then, we schedule an initial inspection appointment where our adjuster and the insurance field adjuster meet at your property to inspect/assess your damages. Both, our loss consultant expert and the insurance field adjuster, create an estimate from this initial inspection appointment.
05
Initial Determination
The Insurance Company provides their initial determination. The Insurance Company has, by law, up to 90 days to make this initial determination. The way we approach your claim and the steps to follow will vary depending on the insurance company’s initial determination of claim. For example:
If the Insurance Company assumes responsibility for the damages and issue an initial payment that is far off to our expert estimate/scope amount or if the Insurance Company’s estimate/scope is below deductible, then we will send the Insurance Company a letter with our estimate giving them 7 days to review our estimate and re-evaluate their determination.
If the Insurance Company’s determination is a denial and they are not assuming responsibility for the damages, then you would need to obtain legal representation. Omni Claims will continue to dispute your claim utilizing the services of an experienced property claims attorney . Our ultimate goal is to negotiate your file until you are properly compensated for damages in your property.
